My butt and hamstrings hurt like heck. I can't even sit at my desk.  I think it may be a new med that I just started on Friday..it said a possible side affect is muscle soreness...  wow..this is not cool.

Today is a GOOD Day... - Bigpikle (2010-03-09)
Long tough day so back at the hotel I kitted up and headed out for an easy 40 min run. I was in a strange town so picked a simple route from the hotel where I couldnt get lost and just ran. Funny how 40 mins now doesnt even really seem enough to get properly warmed up!

Hopefully this easy week will leave me plenty fresh enough for Sunday. I also found out theirs a pro road race just a few miles up the road from home on Sunday, so I plan to meet the guys from Shutt VR and see the Rapha and Orbea teams amongst others race on my local roads. Cool.

The Long Road Back - jsklarz (2010-03-09)
Run was 2' 6.0-6.7 and back down.  This was my "easy" run prior to my injury.  My HR topped out at 165 (according to the HRM on the mill, which I know is inaccurate but whatever).  Not so easy right now.

Kind of a strange day today.  I got called in to sub after school had already started!  My favorite class, though, so I was happy to agree.

And today starts the 2-day a week "gig" providing after-school care for one of Bryn's friends until around 5:30.  This is purely out of the goodness of my heart, actually.  This family has been in crisis mode for awhile and I finally got wind of it and offered my help.  Very happy to help.  She's a sweetheart of a girl.  But after getting Bryn to/from swimming practice and dinner made, and having a crappy night's sleep again, I don't think there's going to be much energy for any sort of training.  Rob also starts teaching his class too, which puts him home a bit later than normal. 

Maybe I can squeeze in one of the sessions I'm "supposed" to do, but not all 3 discipline's like it's written.  We'll see.  I'm not sure I can stand the idea of climbing back on that trainer again.

wakened by the wind at about 3 am, slept on and off until 5, when we called the ride due to gnarly wind.  Back to bed, slept til 7 :)

What I would post today if I were posting:  How can you watch Hurt Locker and not figure out what is driving the guy to do what he does?   And that's the reason for the post embargo  :)
