photo Navy Seals 1/2 Ironman Plan - 9 week Program
A Navy Seals program modified specifically for triathletes. This workout is DIFFICULT!!! The weight training portion alone may make you cry.

In Part I of this series, you worked your way to peak triathlon fitness the Navy SEAL way. I hope you trained in running shoes rather than combat boots.

 
In Part II of this series, you’ll find a truly challenging program. If you work your way through this program, you’ll find competing in a Half-Ironman distance triathlon to be no problem.


And should your crowning triathlon goal be to one day compete in a full Ironman distance race, the following workout will get you more than halfway there. All you’ll need to do is add one or two long bike rides (say 100+ miles) and you’ll be ready. If you can complete this workout, a 100+ ride should be no problem.
