    1. REGISTER FIRST (FREE)

Make sure you register first on the site.  The link is in the top left 'User Information' block. Register here.

    2. ACCESS AND CONFIGURE SETTINGS (more details)

    3. GO TO YOUR TRAINING LOG

Depending on your 'Log Defaults' (accessible through your 'Settings'), you will either go to the 'blog' or 'calendar' view.

    4. CLICK ON 'TRAINING' AND START LOGGING!

    Blog View:

Your training log will start to fill up!

    Calendar View

Should you have your settings default to the 'Calendar' view, click on the 'training log' button.

You will now see the 'Calendar View.'  Your calendar, like your blog, will be devoid of info if you're new and will look a little something-something like this:

Simply click on the number of the day you want to log.  You will then be taken to the logging screen.

It's pretty much self explanatory, you log everything you want to here.  Just hit any of the 'Save and return to' buttons at the top.

*NOTE, if you use the 'equipment tracker', make sure you select the appropriate piece of equipment you used everytime you log to keep accurate use.

Your calendar will quickly fill up to look something like this.

    5. NAVIGATION TO REPORTS AND OTHER LOGGING SCREENS

The different reports will allow you to see the exact details of what you have logged.

    6. MINICALENDAR AND ICONS (Blog-View Only)

BT's color-coded mini-calendar will be very important to you.  It allows you to quickly glance at the current or previous months to see what/if you did any training and what you logged.

    6. INSPIRE ME

& = Yes, it's true.  You have been blogged.  Somebody has left you a comment or as we like to call it, 'inspiration.'  Simply go to your blog-view of the corresponding day and click on the number in the 'inspire me' link to see the comments such as the one below:

*Firefox issues and remedy with the 'Blog' button via the 'Inspires'

PLANNED TRAINING LOG (bronze, silvers and golds),

    Logging your workouts
This is exactly the same as the blog and calendar logging.

To log planned training, go to the 'Blog' or 'Calendar' links and click 'planned' for the view you want to log or see:

    Repeat the above logging procedures.

Don't get confused as to if you're viewing your planned or actual training.  Look at your headers and titles.  It's an easy switch back and forth.

Getting the next weeks workouts to show up in your 'Actual' blog
If you have data in your planned training log for future dates, this will automatically show up in your 'Actual' blog for a quick reference instead of going into the planned view.

As you can see from the pictures, if you hover over the date, a box will appear giving you that days full workout details.  There is no reason to have to go to your 'Planned' blog-view to view workouts.

Additionally, if you click on the '>>' next to the date, that will take you directly to your planned training log to view or edit.

Pretty cool.  Now you can't forget your workouts coming up.

If the above tutorials fail to help you with a problem you're experiencing, please post your question in the 'Training Log Forum'. Myself or other loggers will help you.

Endless Pools® is our proud 2010 supporter of the training logs. It is through them that we have been able to add a tremendous amount of new features this year.
